Paul started out in the Film industry in the camera department, working on feature films, documentaries and commercials finally concentrating his efforts in the advertising world in 1977. He began lighting in 1980 and established himself as a very accomplished and talented director of photography, winning numerous awards.
Since 1988 he has been directing and photographing most of his commercials and his vast local and international experience, his patience and dedication to excellence has made him very versatile and adaptable. He is very at home handling anything from cars to children, sport to beauty and animals to table top. He is known for his lighting and creation of beautiful images. He has good people skills, especially with children, and as a film maker, he is a good storyteller and understands the importance of “performance”.
Although ‘film’ is his preference, he has accepted, adapted and works extensively in the world of HD photography. Paul has an excellent knowledge of film technique and post production.
